What time should I arrive?
Lake Mac Church gathers for church at 4pm (includes a great Kids Church).
We recommend arriving a few minutes early. We’ll welcome you, show you where the bathrooms are and help you find a good seat.
What will church be like?
Church has a relaxed and friendly feel. Each gathering runs for about 70 minutes. You’ll hear some great music and enthusiastic singing. Children join us for the beginning of our time together and are then invited to their own program in Kids Church.
The bible will be read and explained by one of our pastors, and different people will lead the church in prayer. Afterwards you’re welcome to stay for a light meal and a chance to chat!
It’s a lot of fun, engaging and relational. You’re welcome to just come along and check it all out or participate as you feel comfortable.
You won’t be asked for money.
How should I dress?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on church than what you’re wearing. In summer, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.
But I’m not a Christian
Don’t worry. Lake Mac Church is full of people from all sorts of backgrounds, faith traditions and non-traditions. while some of us have been Christians for a long time – others have just started following Jesus and some exploring the claims Jesus made. Church is the right place for people of all backgrounds to be.
